Kwekerij Koningshof has been active since 1980, starting with cucumber cultivation in Bleiswijk. Four years later, founder Aad de Koning shifted to growing summer flowers like asters and gypsophila. In 1998, they established a new nursery on Albert van ’t Hartweg, fully dedicated to large-flowered cymbidiums. Since then, cymbidiums have been the core of their business.

In 2013, Aad’s son Frans joined the company, ensuring continuity into the second generation. Together, they run the nursery with a focus on quality and innovation. While cymbidiums are traditionally winter-blooming, advanced greenhouse technology allows them to supply flowers year-round, including summer.

Their range includes a variety of colors—white, green, pink, and yellow—available in different stem lengths. Cymbidiums are freshly cut and packed in boxes according to customer preferences, whether mixed or sorted by variety. Kwekerij Koningshof is known for its flexibility, reliability, and dedication to exceptional flowers.
